Our coaches at SS&C are highly-certified and have experienced coaching an array of fitness levels and goals. We believe a good coach is one who has ample personal experience in the gym, one who lives and breathes the gym. It is our priority to stay on top of current scientific research and fitness trends to provide our clients with the best experience.


Elizabeth Russell

Owner - Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Liz’s love for Anatomy and Kinesiology lead her to study Exercise Science at Belmont University, Nashville, TN. Her past experiences of sport related injuries made her want to learn how to train the body to prevent such injuries from happening. In 2018 she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Liz also is a certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She specializes in coaching athletic development and prevention of injury. Since 2017 Liz has been training an array of people with different goals and fitness levels. Liz would love to help you tackle any goal you may have!

Gavin McDill

Gavin has a lot of experience and love for the gym. He holds many Powerlifting records some including, International Powerlifting League Open Men’s 220 World Squat Record (646lb), US Powerlifting Association Jr. Men’s 220 National Total Record (1715.2lb) and International Powerlifting League Jr. Men’s 220 World Total Record (17152.2lb).

Mandy Kalmer

CFL-1 - 2020

Mandy fell in love with working out by doing Crossfit. She loves the challenge of a wod and the technique of weightlifting. She loves to see her clients hit goals, progress in strength and aerobic training and feel overall more confident in the gym. Having a loud, encouraging ENVIRONMENT is what breeds success.
